About The Baker

Oluwakemi Oladiran is the CEO of Signature Cakes, She is happily married with a daughter. Signature Cakes has been in business for 15 years. An home based business offering creative designs & delicious cakes; but all her inspiration started as a young child who grew up watching her mother bake cakes and making luxurious pastries, kemi soon picked up the interest and developed her own unique tastes & designs to suit clientele needs. Mrs Oluwakemi Oladiran first conceptualized her business in 2005 & became a registered business in December 2006. The art of cake baking runs in her veins and head which is full of creativity, fun & love.

About The Baker

Oluwakemi who is the creative brain behind this business holds a B.Sc Degree in Microbiology from the University of Lagos as well as a Masters degree in Public & International Affairs from same school. Having worked in different multinational companies, she comes with a strong customer service professional background. Kemi gets lots of inspiration by attending exhibitions, trainings and skill development workshops. Signature cakes has proved to be one of the Nigerians renowned cake designers overtime and aspires to be the best in the industry.

In the quest to be above and to deliver quality business, kemi went to acquire skills in business management at Fate Foundation, Lagos and her business-Signature Cakes was chosen in 2009 to be an international success story under the initiative of International Youth Foundation (IYF) through the Samsung Real Dreams Programme- CSR. Signature cakes got the recognition it wanted by featuring in a global magazine hosted by (IYF) and sponsored by Samsung electronics. Today signature cakes is a budding business and among the favorites cakes shops in Lagos for brides to be and other cake lovers.
